So I thought the quickest way to a man's heart is through his stomach
So why do we never get taken out for dinner?

Why is it acceptable for a woman to hit you up and say "I'm hungry" "Let's go out to dinner"
and the MAN has to pay? He was chillin'! But that's the only way you get a date sometimes...if you're trickin...err I mean Treatin'

It's not always "trickin" don't take me too literally, and this is definitely NOT meant to say that this goes for all women...all dates...all situations, you know my humor; BUT I STAND by these words as they reference the majority

I don't have any problems paying for a meal, or cooking...I actually like to see if I'm the only one that likes my cooking or not LOL
...and maybe it's the control that a man likes to have because he wasn't the one that came up with the idea for dinner he feels some kind of way.

I'm just saying....it's crazy that when a man and woman decide to go out (on the woman's request) the man has to flip the bill

Like, let's go to the movies....okay, Duke may or may not even WANT to go see the movie...but agrees because he's diggin the chick and she called, and it's a way to see her

But that's dating...a guy always picks up the bill when you're dating (for whatever reason)

If you're dating you're dating...but women will put themselves in the 'Friends Zone' and you're STILL supposed to pay, that's extra bull because the woman knows you like her, buy she put you in the Friends Zone' because she's not trying to date you...but she'll let you trick off lol...the only time you don't is when:

Here's the thing...regardless of what I type, what's right, what anyone thinks the man is going to pay for the majority of dates and entertainment between couples, a good common rule is to say whomever comes up with the activity is the one that pays
and just hope you're not dating some jerk bucket that never comes up with anything or waits for you to lol

Dinner dates are for when both people are hungry OR for sex; if you're truly interested in someone you can do things that require conversation...walking, listening to music, bowling, playing games, etc.
If a woman is only tryin to get her fat face fed every time she calls...it's prolly not poppin off....and you're prolly trickin off :)

1. Daffy Duck

Daffy may be a lunatic vigilante in one short but a greedy glory hound in the next
If I had to pick any cartoon character that I'm most like it would be Daffy...he's a loon and always has a plan

2. Bugs Bunny

THIS is my guy, most look at the cartoon and think Bugs is funny, but if you really look close you'll find he's a complete and utter jerk LOL

One of my "Reasons I'm single" was that I'm a picky eater. Some women think that this is a terrible thing since it limits where we can go out to eat...or changes the spontaneity of hitting a new place to eat since I may not eat anything on the menu

1. I'm not going out to eat every night so when WE go together it's more than likely there's something at the place we go to that I'll like...and if not I'm not complaining

Hip hop was supposed to be a fad...supposedly it wouldn't last; it was an alternative to everything else on the radio

the biggest and best form of expression for people with next to nothing...or just with something to say

No one was going platinum...nobody was really going gold

..what's more is 98% of the MC's ever talked about it...didn't care; they rhymed because they wanted to

sure, there was money in it; but it was more of a cultural thing....it was just what you did.

The difference.

What use to happen was when a MC rhymed his or her only task was to show and prove that they were the best at it...better than the next person.

The wordplay, the story telling...how they could paint a picture and/or put you down in the most different or creative way as possible

THAT'S why you had so many flavors...the artists and performances, the music was so different...you didn't want to sound like someone else, you wanted to sound better/different.

Once upon a time there was this thing called "Biting" see that was when you copied someone's style, beat, dress, flow,look...or all of the above.

It was the Number 1 Taboo of what NOT to do

NOW?

Everyone rhymes the same for the most part.

They steal/take/borrow each others lines (It's not paying tribute or honoring if they're dead either...it's biting and jocking)

They re use the same beats or flip them a little bit

Biting is the Number one way to get ahead these days

...that or call someone out that's on top...but they dont even battle right anymore.

Most of the time people have sex before they get a true sense of what a person’s personality is like (Hell sometimes before they know a person’s last name…) BUT
You have to try ‘em out first before you make any commitments…you don’t want to be stuck with someone that can’t do the...well...' do'

Why don't you club?

Clubbing (in my opinion) is one of the few things that people do on the regular that yields NO return

You figure:

Put on some 'club clothes'
Drive to the club (Gas)
Pay for parking
Wait in line (For dumb long)
Pay to get in (Don't ask if there's someone performing)
If it's cold out? Pay for coat check
Purchase some expensive-ass watered-down, thimble size drinks.

THEN you have the fun

Men:

You stand around and look at tits and ass
Either try and look hard/thugged out or try and look sexy.
Buy an expensive bottle of champagne that taste like sweaty rat back and front like you have cash like that

(But when a woman uses you for your cash you get burnt and call her a gold digger...go fig.)

Go out on the floor and try and grind on some chick
Or (my personal fav) Grab at a womans arms when they walk by and think that they're going to stop and give you some rhythm.

Women:

Stand around and look at the ridiculous outfits other women have on

(If you don't ...they're probably doing it to you)

Laugh at the guys that's trying to look hard or trying to look sexy
Go out on the floor and get molested by some dude dry humpin your leg like a Horny beagle
Or the obligatory "Arm Grab" followed by 'can I talk to you for a second?"

puhahahhahah!

Basically what it boils down to is:

An expensive outing with Loud ass music I would never listen to on purpose
Sweaty stank-ass people bumping into you

(Dont say anything about it or then it's on)

People spilling drinks on your 'club clothes'

(Again, keep your mouth shut...might get shot)

And you just ummm stand around and look around and ummm...yeah
Then after 'bout 5 hours you go home
OR you go to IHOP and spend some more money.

...so you figure, end of the night, spent about $100.

Less for women with the: "Ladies get in free before..." and Men trickin' on drinks

But anyway, it amounts to too damn much...too extra for ole Mr. eclectik here.

Lemme go shoppin, I'll get a shirt or a pair of sneakers

...a DVD, a 8-pack of Smirnoff twisted (Watermelon or Green Apple) and relax have a slice of Pizza or some take out and watch a movie. Same or less amount of money...much more fun.

1. I don’t chase women/play the game

I think (Not saying this is fact at all) but I THINK that women like to be chased, think that men like to chase…or something to that effect…maybe it’s they really want to know or feel that a man likes them…that what he says is genuine, I don’t know.
I just don’t enjoy the cat and mouse game…definitely a reason I’m single.
If I’m diggin’ someone and I tell them, that’s what it is…no need for tests or games to ascertain.

I don’t say many things just to make another person feel good or tell someone ‘what they want to hear’ if you ask my idea of a good date, or what I think about you…or something else and it sounds good, it’s not for you, that’s just how I feel.
I think women are trained to look for the hidden agenda because of stories or past experiences and I get the skeptical eyes LOL

1. I'm boring

Going to the movies, shooting pool, playing board games, cards...
Walking around Georgetown, shopping and stopping for drinks
Those are fun things to me.
I'd rather go to a lounge and listen to some spoken word or get some take out and watch a DVD than hit a club.

(The obligatory trip to N.Y. for shopping or a weekend in A.C. for a little blackjack is always the move too.)

To some though, that's boring and not desirable...I'm a laid back type guy...I watch 24, and Girlfriends what do you want from me? LOL

2. I don't go to church

I don't have anything against religion, I love Jesus!
For those that go to Church, Temple, or Kingdom Hall on the weekly or more? there's not a thing wrong with that, I just don't enjoy going/attending Services.
I believe in God, I pray I just don't go to the building.
I don't have any problem with my woman going, raising our children into going; Hey, I'd even go a time or two but I'd never be a regular
(that time or two may literally be a time or two)
Some women cannot get over that and I respect it, but if I went to church or said that I do just to impress a woman or make her think that Im religious; just to get close to her is dishonest and if there's anything/anyone I'm NOT going to lie about or on it's the most high! J

3. I don't dance

That's probably reason 412 why I don't go to the clubs
(But then again I don't even go to or like Strip clubs either)

Look, if I'm really with someone I'd take some classes like The Tango or some ish like that, that might be fun; but I'm not about to go sweat it up and shake it down in nobody's club; Her and her girls can go do that as much as they want.

As long as she's coming home to me what do I have to worry about?
If she's doing something she shouldn't be; a couple of things will happen:

Shell cheat
She'll like someone else and break up with me
Word will get out or Ill catch her in a lie of some sort

...all roads end with me not dealing with her anymore, so who cares?
Chalk it up to her not being the right one, but dancing CANNOT be that serious...can it?

4. I'm not attracted to fast-ass females/ Im not an 'Ass man' or 'Breast man'

I'm a sucker for pretty skin and nice legs.....a pretty smile, toned arms...Now I love the curves and if I had to pick between the standard two; I'd probably go backside over big breasts...I dont mind small breasts in the least
(it's all about the nipple peoples...the nipple LOL)

With all that being said, maybe if I went for the hot butt chicks that wear their T&A all hanging out or that's out pelvic poppin' all over the place it would be easier to get someone lol theres a lot of them around these days

But NOPE!

I'd rather go with what I want/prefer...plus personality is whats important

I require what I'd like to think are small things...I honestly don't think I ask for much when people ask "What is your type?"

The MOST IMPORTANT thing is Sense of Humor
...nothing is worse than a woman that cannot take or tell a joke or find humor in some things stupid or otherwise. lol

...EVEN if we're talking about 'Why Barney Rubble didn't have a neck' or 'If the Beat it Jacket was better than the Thriller Jacket lol just the ability to have fun and talk. Things don't always have to be serious but being able to get along with one another is big.

Who wants to be with someone thats not trying to do something with themselves?
A Job (pref. career) in College (or graduate) wanting to do somethingbills are hot
Being able to pay them is sexy lol; 401 K, a carrentyour name on a lease somewhere lol
